The Center is fully equipped with both computer and technology enhanced classrooms and labs. Program labs include: practical nursing, air traffic control, emergency services, science, heating and air conditioning (HVAC)/electrical, carpentry, AutoCAD® and culinary. Support offices, student lounge/vending areas, meeting rooms, a joint-use college/Nassau County public library and a landscaped interior courtyard complete the Center. The College is the lead agency for the Nassau County Take Stock in Children Program. The Nassau County Economic Development Board staff is housed at the Center in a partnership with the College.

Students can complete a workforce certificate in practical nursing and a technical certificate in emergency medical technician at the Center. First year classes in culinary and air traffic control, as well as customized workforce education classes, enable students and the local workforce to train for a career and/or upgrade their current work skills. Nassau Center students can earn their associate in arts degree and complete their prerequisites towards numerous associate in science degrees. The Nassau County School District currently offers AutoCAD®, computer gaming and HVAC high school classes at the facility.  Programs at the Nassau Center are constantly evolving to meet community and industry needs.

The Outdoor Education Center program is located in a pristine 16-acre wooded corner of the College property. The physical support facilities, designed to blend in with the natural setting, complement the extensive low ropes course and the towering 30-foot climbing wall. The outdoor education program offers team building, leadership, and environmental education programs to corporations and businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions at all levels, as well as a summer camp program. College credit outdoor education classes are also offered. The low ropes course and the climbing wall are the best in the area.
