High School Seniors Interested in Career Skills Can Attend Florida State College for Free
The Twenty-First Century Academy at Florida State College is a special program designed for students like you. Qualifying students would attend college courses at no charge. In addition, we provide free transportation to and from classes.
Who Qualifies?
- Current high school seniors with a 2.0 or above GPA
- Students interested in attending college, vocational programs or obtaining immediate employment skills
- Students interested in workforce careers (see courses below)
- Students who meet the academy income criteria
- Students who take the TABE at Florida State College
- Participants in the Graduation Initiative Program

- Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Systems (HVAC)
- Automotive
- Biotechnology
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Manufacturing
- Web Design
When and where are the courses offered?
Classes are held at the Florida State College Downtown Campus, Mondays through Fridays. Most classes are offered from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
