Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2023. This annual day of giving was created to inspire people, businesses and communities to come together for one common purpose – to make a difference for causes they care about most.
You are invited to join us in this day of giving back to the community. There are a variety of ways to get involved:

Volunteer for a Day of Service
FSCJ
employees and students can sign up to volunteer with us during our Tuesday, December 5 day of service. You can earn service hours for your time.
Please note: Supervisor pre-approval via email confirmation is required for faculty/staff volunteers. You should also sign in at your volunteer site upon arrival. Please arrive early to your volunteer site. Volunteer hours will be considered time worked so please choose the opportunity that matches your schedule.

Farm Share Warehouse Stocking
- Help us pack the warehouse at Farm Share's new location, where they
will continue their mission to make sure no Floridian goes hungry and no
food goes to waste.Volunteer times will be December 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Limited volunteer slots are still available. Learn about Farm Share here.
R.L. Brown Academy Garden Restoration - Join us as support the work of our science department at this local K-5 school for gifted and academically talented children. Bring your garden tools, gloves and roll up your sleeves as we work to restore the on-site garden in preparation for the next planting season. You must complete a free background check by November 20 to participate. Volunteer times will be December 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. All volunteer slots have been filled. Learn about R.L. Brown Academy here.
