All students who apply to FSCJ must complete a Residency Declaration form as part of the application process. This form is available in the student’s application portal, found at apply.fscj.edu.
A Florida resident for tuition purposes is a person who has, or a dependent person whose parent or legal guardian has, established and maintained legal residency in Florida for at least twelve (12) consecutive months preceding the first day of classes of the term for which Florida residency is sought.
A student who classifies as a Florida Resident will pay a lower tuition rate than the out-of-state rate.
Student will submit appropriate documentation within the FSCJ application portal.
