Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the FSCJ Assessment and Certification Centers have made a series of changes that may impact the way you take your exam. Please be sure to read the exam descriptions carefully when scheduling your testing appointment.

The Assessment Centers are open for in-person testing, and we are committed to providing the safest testing experience for our candidates. We are adhering to CDC recommendations for social distancing; therefore, ANY candidate more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule or sign a time waiver, forfeiting the remaining time as not to exceed capacity for future appointments. Remote testing options for select exams are available Sunday through Monday.

Though not required, students are welcome to bring and use a number of disinfecting/health items: hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves, or any other personal items related to maintaining a clean and sanitized testing experience. Each assessment center will have hand sanitizer available but no other personal items will be provided.

Testing candidates that exhibit ANY illness should not come to campus. If a candidate arrives ill, he or she will be asked to leave immediately.

Florida State College at Jacksonville assessment and certification centers provide access to high quality services to our students, community and faculty, while ensuring examination integrity in a secure and test-friendly environment. Our focus is to provide meaningful services to our customers while promoting the academic, career and personal goals of the individuals we serve. We adhere to National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.

For your convenience, assessment centers can be found at each campus or center location – please visit  Assessment and Certification Center Hours, for additional information on each specific location. However, please be aware that not every test is available at every location, so please use the links below to research the test you wish to take before traveling to any specific Assessment Center – and remember that most testing does require an appointment.
